Acceptance of Terms
By using the copy editing and proofreading services provided by AM Editing, you agree to comply with and be destined by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
Services Offered
AM Editing provides copy editing and proofreading services for a wide range of written content, such as website copy, newspaper and magazine articles, theses, dissertations, essays, academic journals, business reports, academic papers, product descriptions, transcripts, books and e-books, flyers and brochures, resumes and cover letters, screenplays, press releases, and emails.
Payment and Pricing
Our service pricing will be given to you upon request. Payment for services is necessary before the start of work. We accept a number of payment methods, which are listed in our payment instructions.
Submission and Turnaround Time
The responsibility for submitting content for editing and proofreading rests with the client. Before the start of the project, turnaround times will be negotiated and decided. Even though AM Editing will make a reasonable faith effort to meet the deadlines, we cannot provide a specific delivery date.
=Quality of Work
AM Editing will diligently review and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors. However, the client acknowledges that we do not guarantee perfection and that some errors may remain in the edited content.
Confidentiality
AM Editing will treat all client information and content as confidential and not share it with third parties. We will retain a copy of edited content for a reasonable period for reference purposes.
Copyright and Ownership
The client retains full ownership and copyright of their original content. AM Editing claims no ownership over the edited content. The client is responsible for ensuring they have the rights to the edited content.
Liability
AM Editing disclaims all responsibility for direct, indirect, consequential, punitive, or other damages from using our services. The client consents to defend and hold AM Editing free from any claims or liabilities resulting from the altered content.
Changes to Terms
AM Editing reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. Clients will be informed of any changes, and continued use of our services with acceptance of the modified terms.
